Tammy Bartlett has a passion for all
music. Mostly self taught as a child on piano, guitar,
harmonica and bass, she attended university as a music major
and learned the proper techniques for all instruments. Live
performances, band tours, 10 years in the the US Army Band,
studio sessions and self CD releases has taught Tammy the
value of being a versatile musician. This shows in her
instruction and each student benefits from this focus to
provide the best lesson.
Taking lessons from Tammy on the
piano, harmonica, guitar or bass, you can expect to learn
proper technique, music theory, how to read music, ear
training, songs of the students choice, scales, chords,
songwriting and how to ‘jam’ with others.

Paula
has over 42 years of experience with classical guitar. She
has been teaching at Gadsby's Music Company for 30 years,
and a Hartnell College for the past 8 years. She has played
as a professional performer for weddings, musicals, church
services and other special occasions and parties.
Paula has classical training and has studied with Byron
Tommigas, George Sakellariou, Jeff Stewart and many other
well known teachers.
Working with Paula, you can expect to learn how to read
notes, the classical finger style playing, scales, chords
and much more. She also focuses on proper technique for both
hands. Paula's joy in teaching her students is that they
have a passion for the music they learn.

Gianni has been teaching private
and group lessons for 10 years in all styles and is
currently accepting students at any level, ages 6 and up.
Lessons are taught in his home studio in Santa Cruz and at
Gadsby's Music Company in Salinas.
Gianni creates customized programs to fit the goals of each
individual student, be it improvising in any style, playing
written music, honing classical technical skills, improving
knowledge of music theory or composing and arranging.
In addition to instruction on the instrument, curriculum
includes customized play along CDs with musical examples and
exercises to fit each individual student's needs, enabling
them to practice more effectively at home.

Experience Karl has been
playing drums since the age of 10. Between the 7th and
8th grade he started playing the drum set in the junior high
school stage band. He continued through high school
playing in concert and symphonic bands and assorted high
school rock bands.

Karl continues studying and
researching on the art of drumming by attending percussive
arts conferences, drum clinics, workshops, videos, and
private studies.
Playing Experience:
Karl has played in many assorted
bands, with names such as Billy Thunder, Outlander, Silent
Knight, Paragon, Purple Heart Fixation, Richard Lee and the
Juke Boys, Up All Night, and am currently subbing with
Chicano All Stars. The music styles in these bands
range from Metal, Blues, Rock, Funk, Reggae, and Latin Jazz.
Teaching Experience:
Karl has been teaching for 25 years.
He teaches all ages, from beginner to advanced. Karl
continues to study and research new material to use in his
lessons.
